1:1 Studio intensives

Philosophy

When I started out as a florist, the class offerings were incredibly dated, and I had to learn the long, hard way. Because of this, I focus only on current styles, updated techniques, and the best tips and tricks I've learned over the years. The customized one-on-one/small group floral intensives offered in my studio are for hobbyists, professional florists, and farmer-florists.

process

Begin by completing the contact form below. A floral intensive schedule and flower list will be created for your approval, based on your selected areas of instruction. Student input on flower selection is welcome, but not necessary. Flowers will be as locally sourced as possible, special, and of the highest quality.

investment

The hourly instructional fee is $130. An additional materials cost applies and will be dependent on season, nature of topics, and number of topics. The day rate for one-on-one studio intensives is $800, which includes 3 topics, 7 hours of instructional time, and lunch. Group rates and day rates for off-site teaching vary and will be customized based on your instructional interests and needs. Professional photography of your floral pieces by Amanda Dumouchelle Photography may be added.

Large Scale Design: Various mechanics for installations such as arches, chuppahs, mantles, and trees - 3 hours

Garland & Wreaths: Green and floral garlands for centerpieces, ceremony, and seasonal decor - 2 hours

Beyond Design - Sourcing & Event Pricing: Insider tips for sourcing (flowers, vases, jewelry bases), flower recipes, creating client floral proposals - 1.5 hours

1 hour: photograph up to 4 floral pieces - $350

2 hours: photograph additional floral pieces and complimentary head shots - $450
